A boy and a rakish smuggler search for a legendary confused diamond in a wonderfully stylised side of 19th century Cornwall. The characters are linked and haunted by the honour of the boy’s dead overprotect, and their ‘romance’ is a journey through a dark delighted of gallows and graveyards.
